February is 'Love My DCL' Month at Durham County Library
and Throughout Durham

Program:             "Love My DCL"
Date:                     February 1-28, 2013
Location:             All Durham County Library locations and participating local businesses
Cost:                      Free and open to the public

About:            February is the month for love - Valentine's Day and "National Library Lovers" month. To celebrate, Durham County Library is hosting a special month-long "Love My DCL" campaign.

During the month of February, many of Durham's restaurants and businesses will support the library by a selecting a "DCL Day," and donating a portion of their sales from that day to Durham Library Foundation. The library is encouraging everyone to show their love by visiting those businesses on their DCL Day.

A regularly updated listing of participating businesses is available at lovemydcl.org. Businesses that would like to host a DCL Day may sign up for any open date via the website.

Creative library patrons may also show their support by leaving the library a valentine in person or online, or submitting a short video telling the world why they love Durham County Library. Comments and videos will be posted on the site.
