Donations are encouraged. Visit www.durhamlibraryfoundation.org to register. The North Carolina Collection is the only entity in the world whose main purpose is to preserve books, photos, maps, papers of individuals and organizations, and more that tell the story of Durham city and county history. Your donation helps make the NC Collection the best it can be.Special Note: After the reception, John will conduct a 25-minute walking tour of the mill village for those interested. Where does Coach K get his hair cut (nearby)? Who was Buck Dean and why does he have the only sidewalk on the street?
