Durham Police Department Offers New Hiring Incentives
The Durham Police Department is offering new hiring incentives<http://durhamnc.gov/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=598> to help with recruitment efforts. Those incentives are being offered for both entry-level Basic Law Enforcement Training and Advanced Law Enforcement Training positions.

Durham Receives WaterSense Excellence Award
Durham is receiving national recognition as a leader in saving water for future generations. Durham YouthWork Internship Program in Need of Partnering Businesses
The Durham YouthWork Internship Program is in need of partnering businesses<http://durhamnc.gov/598/Durham-Youthwork-Internship-Program>. The program is for youth ages 14-24, and it offers them the chance to work 30 hours a week for six-to-eight weeks in the summer. The goal is to increase the number of internships to 250 for next summer 2017.
